Linzi Cody earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Northern Arizona University in 2015, and is a licensed psychologist at Flagstaff Counseling Center. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, and earned her MA in Community Counseling from Northern Arizona University in 2010. She has worked in the field of mental health since 2006. Linzi works with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples and families. She can provide support and help with a variety of issues including; depression, anxiety, work and school stress, relationship stress, health and wellness, spirituality, and life transitions. Linzi particularly enjoys working with pregnant women and new parents in order to help with the adjustment of adding a new member to the family and all of the emotions that come with this major life event.
Linzi takes a collaborative and strengths-based approach to counseling with the goal of empowering her clients to find the solutions they seek. Linzi believes in the strong connection between mind and body, and works with people to develop healthier lifestyles that facilitate ongoing emotional and spiritual growth. Through this counseling process clients will resolve current stressors and also learn new coping skills to manage issues that may arise in the future.
Linzi accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield and private pay.
