The Mindfulness App catalogues over 200 guided sessions instructed by influential meditation instructors all over the world, with regularly updated content. Users can keep up with their private meditation practices in new ways, offering an excellent resource to learn from and grow with.
Headspace
A common misconception surrounding meditation is that it's a lengthy process, but unlike organized sessions with an instructor in a studio, your practice is all your own. Headspace is a great resource to fit meditation into a few minutes of the day. Starting off with a 10-day trial run, the app's Take10 program is a foundation course that guides you to mindfulness, so that no matter the stressful situation, you are able to separate yourself from pressing thoughts or the toxic environment around you.
Calm
In addition to mindfulness, we're searching for a sense of calm when we tap into meditative practices. This application mentors users by engaging them in sessions from three to 25 minutes that focus on anxiety, stress, and sleep deprivation, focus, and more. An excellent resource for beginners, it also includes programs for intermediate and advanced meditators to continue their practice.

Stop, Breathe & Think app is a free mindfulness, meditation and compassion-building lifestyle tool that is simple, fun and easy to use.
Emotions like happiness, stress and anxiety can be tracked pre and post meditation, and you can even share your favorite calming exercises with friends.
Insight Timer
Crowned the most popular meditation app via iTunes, Insight Timer offers a variety of features — from stabilizing anxiety levels to correcting a poor sleep pattern. Key features of the app include lovely sounds and bell timers to keep you on track and in the mood, as well as over 3,500 guided meditations to incorporate into your practice.
Relax Melodies
Busy minds affect capability for getting a good night's sleep. Consider Relax Melodies a lullaby of mindfulness. Offering 52 free melodies and nature notes, users can create a soothing mix. By incorporating a customizable soundtrack to the app's five-day program, users are guided on to a sleeping path that works.
Smiling Mind App
A positive attitude begins with a positive mindset, and for the days you're not feeling it, Smiling Mind can help make the transition. Offering programs for children as young as seven years old, to full-grown adults, the app is widely used in the classroom and at the workplace. Smiling Mind App. provides meditators a few minutes to de-stress and perk up.

The name "Omvana" in itself just sounds meditative, and even though rule of thumb says not to judge an app by its title, it's justified here. Squeeze in a quick session on your morning commute or clock in an hour before bed. No matter how small a segment your schedule allows, this app helps one find mindfulness, stress relief, and focus.

SAM is a friendly app that offers a range of self-help methods for people who are serious about learning to manage their anxiety.
