Miles is a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides therapy to adults and teens age 16 and up. He is a former Lumberjack with a B.S. in Biology from NAU, and he earned his Master's in Social Work from Louisiana State University. Miles primarily uses cognitive-behavioral interventions to help clients move past patterns of shame and self-blame. He believes in the power of compassion, both toward self and others, to create meaningful change.

 

Miles is a generalist therapist, but he has special interest in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and has trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety disorders. With a background in scientific writing, he is always happy to help  make sense of complex research and what it means for you and your family. He is proud to offer affirming care to fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community.
